Steam Mop
A steam mop is a kind of cleaning device used to clean floors and carpet. Using this hi-tech cleaning device makes the cleaning process ten times faster than the traditional mopping. With this mop, you will no longer need to use a bucket full of water as it contains a steam which replaces the water. The device contains a small water tank attached to it, and it is where the dry steam comes from. The microfiber pad which is usually placed in the bottom of the steam jet is used for trapping dirt.

The water would only take some few minutes to heat, and when the water to the reservoir already reaches the temperature of 248 °F or 120 °C, the mop will be ready to use. If your purpose is to sanitize the area, you should place the mop at least ten seconds on each spot to kill germs. That time frame is already long enough to heat the floor and neutralize the area. The steam pads that are found at the bottom of the steam jets are used to remove dirt. After cleaning, these pads can be washed in a machine to be able to use again. Compare to a traditional mop, steam mops do not leave any residue to the floor and has the ability to remove stubborn stains and also restore shine.

Another thing is don’t add any cleaning products to the steam mop as this will cause damage to the device.
